In one day some 25 volunteers installed 4 mosaics at the Science and Nature Center. The day was gorgeous and everyone was having so much fun. The art is amazing and carries that special note of collaboration - all those hands in the pie!
In particular, the Adlucent boys + one Dell dude became pretty attached to the salamander project. They even skipped the happy hour to finish the salamander. And she was gorgeous.
SADLY the next day Mother Nature threw a fit and washed the salamander OFF THE WALL. Seriously.
...after the shock wore off...
The salamander ladies offered to help put her back together again. And she's stronger, faster, better than she was before and getting grouted TOMORROW.
